Florence is Northern Kentucky’s modern growth, and it is the Kentucky-side counterpart to Mason or Fairfield: mostly built from the 1970s onward, straight fascia, sound seamless gutter, brick and vinyl two-storey fronts on rolling Boone County ground. After the nineteenth-century river blocks in Covington and Newport, Florence is the straightforward part of our Kentucky work — the edges are uniform and the planning goes into height and spacing rather than into detail.
Permanent lighting is the natural recommendation here for the same reasons it is in Mason: the fascia takes a track cleanly, it reads as trim, and it ends the annual climb in a climate where January roof work is genuinely unpleasant. Seasonal displays are busy too, particularly on the newer, taller houses where owners have tried it once themselves.
What a Florence install actually takes
Height on rolling ground. Frontages are usually reachable, but Boone County lots often fall away behind the house, so the rear roofline sits further off the ground than the front suggests — that is lift work with a plan. Fixing spacing is set for snow and sustained freeze, not for a mild winter, which is the main way a Florence install differs from the same house further south.
There is a lot of commercial frontage here. The Mall Road corridor and the retail and hospitality around the interstate are comparison-shopping frontage where a dark facade loses, plus office and light-industrial work. Those runs are usually permanent and get sectioned around trading hours.

Christmas and seasonal light installation in Florence
Seasonal lighting is a full service, not a box of lights from a shelf. We design the display around your roofline, install commercial-grade product cut to fit your house, and service it through the season if anything goes dark. After the holidays we take it down and store it until next year, so nothing lives in your garage and nothing gets crushed between seasons.
Booking order decides the calendar. Installs run in the order they are booked, so the earliest dates go to whoever called first. If you want the lights on before the first weekend of December, get on the list well before the season starts.

Permanent lighting is a slim track fixed under the roofline that stays up all year and reads as trim from the street. Run warm white on an ordinary evening, color through December, orange and white for a Saturday in autumn, or switch it off entirely. It is all controlled from an app, so nobody climbs anything.

We bring both to the consult and tell you which fits your house, including when that is the cheaper option.
