Lighting built for Newport rooflines
Newport sits directly across the river from downtown Cincinnati, and it has two very different halves. The older blocks — Mansion Hill, East Row and the streets back from the river — are nineteenth-century brick and frame, densely built, with cornices, slate and the varied edges that come with a century and a half of repairs. Then there is the riverfront and Levee side, which is modern, commercial and busy every evening of December.
On the historic streets the work is a carefully planned display fixed to the fascia line and designed around the trim, with a permanent track only where it can sit genuinely out of sight. The riverfront and Monmouth Street frontage is commercial work with its own rhythm. Both sides of Newport are close to us — a short run across the river rather than an outlying job.
What a Newport install actually takes
Density and timing. On the older streets houses share walls and front straight onto the pavement, so access is from the street and the job has to be planned around that rather than improvised. Fixings are matched per property because the edges vary house to house, and nothing goes through roofing material — slate is common and unforgiving.
The Levee and Monmouth Street frontages are entertainment-district commercial work, which means an install cannot cost anyone a December evening. Those runs are sectioned, scheduled tightly around trading hours, and given enough calendar slack that a snow week does not land on an event.

What we install
Christmas & Seasonal
Full-service holiday displays: design, commercial-grade lights, installation, in-season service, then takedown and storage.
JellyFish Permanent
Track-mounted permanent lighting tucked under the roofline. Millions of colors, app controlled, holiday or everyday.
Bosso Smart Lighting
A permanent lighting alternative with its own fixture and control system. We fit it to homes JellyFish does not suit.
Commercial & HOA
Storefronts, offices, common areas and entrances, scheduled installs that work around your business hours.
Christmas and seasonal light installation in Newport
Seasonal lighting is a full service, not a box of lights from a shelf. We design the display around your roofline, install commercial-grade product cut to fit your house, and service it through the season if anything goes dark. After the holidays we take it down and store it until next year, so nothing lives in your garage and nothing gets crushed between seasons.
Booking order decides the calendar. Installs run in the order they are booked, so the earliest dates go to whoever called first. If you want the lights on before the first weekend of December, get on the list well before the season starts.

Permanent outdoor lighting in Newport
Permanent lighting is a slim track fixed under the roofline that stays up all year and reads as trim from the street. Run warm white on an ordinary evening, color through December, orange and white for a Saturday in autumn, or switch it off entirely. It is all controlled from an app, so nobody climbs anything.
We install two systems. JellyFish is the one most people have heard of and we are an authorized dealer. Bosso is an alternative with its own fixture and control system that suits some rooflines better. We bring both to the consult and tell you which fits your house, including when that is the cheaper option.
Commercial and HOA lighting in Newport
We light storefronts, offices, entrances and common areas as well as homes. Commercial work is scheduled around your trading hours so the install never costs you a business day, and a larger property can be phased across several visits.
If an HOA, a landlord or a historic district has rules about fixture color, brightness or where a track may sit, bring them to the consult and we design to them from the start rather than asking for an exception later.
