Independence is the newest housing we work on in Northern Kentucky, and one of the fastest-growing parts of Kenton County. Almost all of it is modern subdivision building — straight continuous fascia, seamless gutter, wide frontages, two-storey elevations — spread across rolling ground with woodland between the developments. Lots are generous and houses often sit well back from the road, which changes what a display has to do to read at all.
Set-back frontages are the local argument for a clean permanent outline: at distance an even run reads and a busy one just becomes noise. The stock is uniform enough that a track goes in without argument, and in this climate the appeal of never climbing the front gable again does most of the selling. Seasonal displays are busy too, generally with people who have already tried the gable themselves.
What an Independence install actually takes
Distance, height and power. A house set well back needs the outline planned for the view from the road, and the power run planned properly rather than improvised across a lawn. Rolling lots mean the rear elevation is often a storey further off the ground than the front, and fixing spacing is set for snow load rather than for a mild winter.
Independence is spread out, so scheduling matters as much as installing. We group work and in-season service calls by area, which is what makes a dark section in late December a short detour rather than a wait for the next trip south.

Christmas and seasonal light installation in Independence
Seasonal lighting is a full service, not a box of lights from a shelf. We design the display around your roofline, install commercial-grade product cut to fit your house, and service it through the season if anything goes dark. After the holidays we take it down and store it until next year, so nothing lives in your garage and nothing gets crushed between seasons.
Booking order decides the calendar. Installs run in the order they are booked, so the earliest dates go to whoever called first. If you want the lights on before the first weekend of December, get on the list well before the season starts.
Permanent outdoor lighting in Independence
Permanent lighting is a slim track fixed under the roofline that stays up all year and reads as trim from the street. Run warm white on an ordinary evening, color through December, orange and white for a Saturday in autumn, or switch it off entirely. It is all controlled from an app, so nobody climbs anything.
We install two systems. JellyFish is the one most people have heard of and we are an authorized dealer. Bosso is an alternative with its own fixture and control system that suits some rooflines better. We bring both to the consult and tell you which fits your house, including when that is the cheaper option.
