Christmas & Permanent Light Installation in Mason, OH

Seasonal displays and year-round architectural lighting for Mason homes and Deerfield Towne Center.

Lighting built for Mason rooflines

Mason is where a lot of the metro’s newer executive housing went, and the rooflines show it — large frontages, long straight fascia, seamless gutter, and plenty of two- and three-storey elevations on generous lots with mature planting behind. It is the biggest, newest, tallest housing on this list, which makes it simultaneously the easiest stock to fit a permanent track to and the least sensible to be re-hanging by hand every year.

So permanent lighting is the strongest fit in Mason, and it is usually what brings people to us. One install, a track that disappears into the trim line, and no ladder work again — which in this climate is the part people actually buy. Seasonal displays run alongside it, and the two often start as one job and become the other.

What a Mason install actually takes

Height, and a lot of linear footage. A three-storey rear elevation over a walkout is common here, and the frontages are wide enough that the run is long even when the roofline is simple. Mature planting can make lift placement the hardest decision of the day. We settle access on the site visit and plan the power run properly rather than trailing leads across a lawn.

The commercial side is substantial. Deerfield Towne Center and the Mason-Montgomery Road corridor are retail and restaurant frontage where an unlit facade beside a lit one is an immediate comparison, and there is office and corporate campus work in the same area. Those runs get sectioned and scheduled around trading hours.

What we install

Christmas & Seasonal

Full-service holiday displays: design, commercial-grade lights, installation, in-season service, then takedown and storage.

JellyFish Permanent

Track-mounted permanent lighting tucked under the roofline. Millions of colors, app controlled, holiday or everyday.

Bosso Smart Lighting

A permanent lighting alternative with its own fixture and control system. We fit it to homes JellyFish does not suit.

Commercial & HOA

Storefronts, offices, common areas and entrances, scheduled installs that work around your business hours.

Christmas and seasonal light installation in Mason

Seasonal lighting is a full service, not a box of lights from a shelf. We design the display around your roofline, install commercial-grade product cut to fit your house, and service it through the season if anything goes dark. After the holidays we take it down and store it until next year, so nothing lives in your garage and nothing gets crushed between seasons.

Booking order decides the calendar. Installs run in the order they are booked, so the earliest dates go to whoever called first. If you want the lights on before the first weekend of December, get on the list well before the season starts.

Permanent outdoor lighting on a roofline in Mason

Permanent outdoor lighting in Mason

Permanent lighting is a slim track fixed under the roofline that stays up all year and reads as trim from the street. Run warm white on an ordinary evening, color through December, orange and white for a Saturday in autumn, or switch it off entirely. It is all controlled from an app, so nobody climbs anything.

We install two systems. JellyFish is the one most people have heard of and we are an authorized dealer. Bosso is an alternative with its own fixture and control system that suits some rooflines better. We bring both to the consult and tell you which fits your house, including when that is the cheaper option.

Commercial and HOA lighting in Mason

We light storefronts, offices, entrances and common areas as well as homes. Commercial work is scheduled around your trading hours so the install never costs you a business day, and a larger property can be phased across several visits.

If an HOA, a landlord or a historic district has rules about fixture color, brightness or where a track may sit, bring them to the consult and we design to them from the start rather than asking for an exception later.

Mason questions we get asked

Why is our quote higher than a neighbor's when the houses look similar from the street?
Linear footage, almost always. Two Mason houses can present the same frontage and differ by fifty feet once the back is measured, and here the back is usually the bigger half: a walkout puts the rear roofline a full story further off the ground than the front. Height changes the access, access changes the day, and both land in the number. We measure the whole run at the consult, so the figure you're given is the figure you pay.
What does it cost to run through a Cincinnati December?
Hours, not watts, is the honest way to think about it, and the number's smaller than people expect. The display simply runs longer here than it would further south, because the sun's down before 5:20 in early December and the shortest day gives about nine and a half hours of light. Your roofline is lit through most of the evening from Thanksgiving on. Ask for the draw figure on your run length at the consult and you can price it yourself. Permanent track draw is low across the board.
Do you light the back of the house too, or just the front?
We quote it either way. Most Mason installs outline the street-facing elevation because that's what gets seen. A rear roofline over a deck or a pool changes what the back of the house is like on an ordinary evening of the year, and it's a separate run with its own number. Where houses sit well back from the road, as in Independence, the question shifts to whether the outline reads at that distance at all.
The trees are right over the driveway. Where does the lift go?
We settle that at the site visit. Mature planting is the usual reason a lift can't sit where it obviously should in Mason, and on the tree-covered streets over in Fort Thomas that same canopy causes a completely different problem, which is whether anyone can see the display at all. Here the answer is sometimes a smaller machine and sometimes a different approach to the whole elevation. Either way you hear it before install day.
Can it come on by itself?
Yes. Schedules run in the app, so it follows sunset all year without anyone touching anything. Set it once in November and you won't think about it again.
