Madeira is a compact city, a little over three square miles with about nine and a half thousand residents, and one of our closest neighbors: a few minutes from our office in Deer Park. The town took its name from John Madeira, a local landowner and treasurer of the Marietta and Cincinnati Railroad, whose line still runs through the small downtown on Miami Avenue. Around that core the housing is mostly mid-century, with Cape Cods, brick ranches, split-levels and two-story colonials on tree-lined streets, plus older homes closer to downtown.
Most of these houses suit either kind of lighting. Straight fascia on a ranch or a colonial takes a permanent track cleanly and reads as trim in daylight, while a dormered Cape or an older frame house near downtown can suit a seasonal display planned around the rooflines. Either way the install is straightforward, and the design time goes into getting the proportions right rather than solving access problems.
What a Madeira install actually takes
Not a lot of drama. Most Madeira roofs are one or two stories with reachable eaves, so the day is about measuring the run accurately, spacing the fixings for snow load and a winter of freezing and thawing, and planning the power so the controller sits somewhere sensible. Dormers and the short return runs on a Cape Cod take a little more care, and big street trees get checked for clearance before we decide where the line sits.
Downtown Madeira along Miami Avenue, around the old railroad depot, is small, local commercial frontage: shops, restaurants and offices where the lighting is part of how the street looks in December. Those runs are sectioned and scheduled around opening hours, and they can go permanent so the business never has to think about it again.

Christmas and seasonal light installation in Madeira
Seasonal lighting is a full service, not a box of lights from a shelf. We design the display around your roofline, install commercial-grade product cut to fit your house, and service it through the season if anything goes dark. After the holidays we take it down and store it until next year, so nothing lives in your garage and nothing gets crushed between seasons.
Booking order decides the calendar. Installs run in the order they are booked, so the earliest dates go to whoever called first. If you want the lights on before the first weekend of December, get on the list well before the season starts.
Permanent outdoor lighting in Madeira
Permanent lighting is a slim track fixed under the roofline that stays up all year and reads as trim from the street. Run warm white on an ordinary evening, color through December, orange and white for a Saturday in autumn, or switch it off entirely. It is all controlled from an app, so nobody climbs anything.
We install two systems. JellyFish is the one most people have heard of and we are an authorized dealer. Bosso is an alternative with its own fixture and control system that suits some rooflines better. We bring both to the consult and tell you which fits your house, including when that is the cheaper option.
